The US Air Force Army Heritage Band's "Satellight Jazz Ensemble" brings traditional and modern jazz to the Seminary Chapel for a 7:30pm concert on Tuesday, June 15, 2010. Enjoy jazz, funk and blues from this versatile 12-piece ensemble and vocalist led by Master Sergeant Allen Wittig. The program Tuesday night will be a surprise, but they love works of masters such as Oscar Peterson, Miles Davis, Chick Corea, The Yellowjackets, Charlie Parker, Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, Count Basie and Glenn Miller.

Satellight saxophone players are Master Sergeant Allen Wittig, Technical Sergeant Jeffrey R. Saunders and Staff Sergeant Chris Stelling. Airman 1st Class Jonathan Virtue and Senior Airman James Lantz are on trumpet. Master Sergeant John Cisar and Staff Sergeant Dandrick Glenn are on trombone. Staff Sergeant Reid Stockdill is on percussion. Senior Airman Joe Gacioch plays the guitar. Staff Sergeant Samuel Kennedy is on bass. Airman 1st Class Les Fowler is on piano and keyboard. The vocalist is Staff Sergeant Natalie Madison. The group's audio engineer is Staff Sergeant Kelcey McDonald.

The Satellight Jazz Ensemble is one of the touring groups which comprise the US Air Force Heritage of America Band. Established in 1941, the Band was one of the original Army Air Corps bands. It now has 45 members. Langley Air Force Base in Virginia is its current home.
