Virginia "Ginny" L. Krietz, 71, of 2205 Emmitsburg Road, Gettysburg, Pa., died Aug. 15, 2005 at her home.
Born March 3, 1934 in Emmitsburg, Md., she was the daughter of the late George E. and Alice E. (Ohler) Wagerman. She was the wife of Charles R. Krietz, to whom she was married for 54 years.
Mrs. Krietz was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ, Gettysburg. She provided personal cleaning services to many people in the Gettysburg area until the time of her illness. Ginny attended the Emmitsburg area schools when she was younger.
She was an avid bingo player.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Krietz is survived by four sons, Robert L. Krietz of Waynesboro, Pa., Charles R. Krietz Jr. of Frederick, Md., Terry E. Krietz of Gettysburg, Pa., Daniel W. Krietz of Gardners, Pa.; two daughters, Pamela A. Poland of
Bonneauville, Pa., Eva M. Shaffer of Gettysburg, Pa.; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four brothers, Jack Wagerman of Emmitsburg, Md., James Wagerman of Heidlersburg, Pa., Kenneth Wagerman of Fairfield, Pa., George Wagerman of Winchester, Va.;
and three sisters, Helen Strayer of Fairfield, Pa., Ann Moser and Patricia Groft, both of Gettysburg, Pa.; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Wagerman; and two sisters, Freda Eversole and Betty Garman.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 18, at 11 a.m. at the Trinity United Church of Christ, 60 E. High St., Gettysburg, Pa., with the Rev. Roy D. Fauth officiating. Burial will be in the Emmitsburg Memorial Cemetery, Emmitsburg, Md. The family
will receive friends Wednesday evening, Aug. 17, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Monahan Funeral Home, 125 Carlisle St., Gettysburg, Pa., as well as one hour before services at the church Thursday morning.
