Staff has repaired a number of
street lights in Brookfield
-
Staff installed
Farmer's Market Banners and U.S. Flags on Main
Street

-

Welty Avenue
Water:
-
Rainbow Lake is
now 4" below the spillway, but all wells are
holding up well
-
The roughing filters are now being backwashed
three times per day and the DE filters are being
done once per week
-
Staff has recently
re-worked the catwalk at the Rainbow Lake valve
house
-
Water production and
consumption. We produced and purchased an
average of 367,590 gpd. We consumed an average
of 310,515 gpd (up 12% from April)
-
The difference is
"Backwash Water" ...(15.5%). We purchased
381,100 gals. of water from MSM this month.
-
49.0%
of this water
came from wells
-
3.4% of this
water came from Mt. St. Mary's
-
47.6%
of this water
came from Rainbow Lake
Wastewater:
-
Staff
has recently rebuilt the meter at the irrigation
reservoir and Wayne Sharrer has reported to
work. He is our new W&S Dept. Employee
-
We received about
2.2
inches of precipitation this month (the average is 4.3 inches)
-
Wastewater Treatment:
-
We treated an average
of 273,000 gpd (consumed 310,515 gpd) which means
that 0.0% of the wastewater treated this month was
"wild water". This also indicates that
approximately 12% of all consumption is going to
outdoor use (See #4 under water)
-
Water
consumption is up approximately 12% from April and
the majority of the increased consumption appears
to be for outdoor uses. We are also at a
6.7" precipitation deficit over the last six
month period and Rainbow Lake is 4" below the
spillway. Therefore, the Mayor & Council
may want to consider a restriction on outdoor
water uses.
-
We experienced
one small spill of
untreated sewerage during the month of June.
It took place at MH 120 and appears to be the
result of a grease buildup in the main, not a high
flow.
-
We did not exceed the plant's
design capacity during the month of June
Trash:
