Streets:

Staff repaired
several street lights

Staff has
installed "no loitering" signs at the
Community Center

Staff has
flushed several fire hydrants

Staff has
made some "cold patch" repairs to Creamery

Water:

Rainbow Lake
is mow 5" below the spillway level (up
10" from last month)

The roughing
filters are now being backwashed twice per day
and the DE filters are being done once per week

Staff has
completed the e-coli testing of the lake water and the
results are very good ...only 1/3 of the allowable
level

Water
production and consumption. We produced and
purchased an average of 345,308 gpd. We consumed
an average of 300,873 gpd

The
difference is "Backwash Water" ...(12.9%). We purchased
373,700 gals.
of water from MSM this month.

The overland
and flow treatment system has been shut down for the
season

Staff has
been trimming and cutting trees and brush out of the
perimeter fence at the wastewater treatment plant

We received
about 6.7 inches of precipitation this month (the
average is 3.5 inches)

We treated
an average of 630,000 gpd (consumed 300,873 gpd)
which means that 52.2% of the wastewater treated this
month was "wild water". (up from 7.9% last
month)

We
experienced no spills of untreated sewerage
during the month of August
